Apache Doris on Graviton5 delivered up to 78% higher query performance than its x86 counterpart in standard tests using the same Apache Doris version and data scale.
Over the years, Apache Doris has done extensive optimization on ARM architecture to get the best analytical performance out of hardware. The new Graviton5 offers up to 192 cores, five times the L3 cache of Graviton4, and up to 25% higher compute performance than the previous generation. Graviton5's larger cache and faster memory give Apache Doris more room to handle scans, joins, and aggregations at high concurrency.
